Taking your first steps online needn’t be a stressful event. Our innovative Quick-Start package covers everything you need.

We handle the registration of your web addresses (also known as domain names), the setting up of your web space (also known as hosting – when you get a web site you need somewhere to ‘host’ it, so that other people can access your pages) and the provision of your email addresses.

Step 1:

Included for free, we register the .co.uk , .com and .net variations of the name you request, for example if you wanted to register domain names for Acme Builders, we would register (subject to availability):

www.acmebuilders.co.uk
www.acmebuilders.com
www.acmebuilders.net

Within 24 hours of ordering these domains they become registered in your company name*.

*.co.uk domains are registered for 2 years by default.
*.com and .net domains are registered for 1 year by default.
*Re-registration fees apply, after initial registration period.

We always register your name with .co.uk , .com and .net domain extensions as standard, to protect your brand. If we were to register only the .co.uk domain what is there to stop someone else using the same name with .com? This can harm your brand, and confuse your potential audience.

If you already have your own domain names you can move them to Hostcymru for free.

Step 2:

We set up your web hosting. When you are ready to commission a full web site there is already web space available to host a site for no additional cost.

Step 3:

We set up one email address for your use (you may set up another 9 addresses if required), for example info@acmebuilders.co.uk - you can either access your email by setting up an account in Outlook Express or a similar program, or from any computer with an Internet connection via Internet Explorer, using our easy to use Webmail facility.

Included as standard with every package is your own online Control Panel (cPanel for short). cPanel allows you to configure every aspect of your hosting and email account, including setting up new email addresses, setting up email automatic responses (autoresponders), checking your web site statistics (who has visited your site and when) and much more.
